Before that, he spent a decade running their regional networks in Eastern Europe with offices in Kyiv, Minsk, Moscow & Almaty.

Kirill is a visiting lecturer at various academic and multilateral institutions on the topic of Sovereign Disaster Risk Transfer and teaches a proprietary Risk Management & Insurance course for Master's programme students at several universities. Also, he has over 60 academic and industry publications related to Insurance-Linked Securities, and in 2024-2025, he was Head of Academic Research on the topic of “Belt & Road Initiative’s infrastructure financial protection from natural catastrophe disasters” at one of the China-related institutions.
